Alphagary: Andy Claytor is new Global Business Manager TPE
Alphagary has appointed Andy Claytor as Global Business Manager TPE. Andy Claytor will bring over 20 plus years of business development and executive sales experience to the fulcrum of Alphagary’s TPE operation. He comes to Alphagary from a seven-year spell as Vice President, Business Development, North Region with Hexpol Compounding. He also acted as Regional Sales Director for the organization. Prior to his last role, Andy was Director, Key Accounts & OEM Development for Teknor Apex, from 2001 to 2012.
The company said that Claytor’s commercial strategy development acumen, key account management experience and leadership is expected to spearhead a continued expansion of the company’s US and UK client base in 2021, reaching new customers and end markets. Alphagary recently acquired Sylvin Technologies (USA) and Vinyl Compounds (UK).

Alphagary’s Evoprene TPE series is designed for consumer goods, food contact, medical device, automotive, and industrial parts; and the Garaflex series is designed for wire and cable applications. The company began developing TPE compounds in the 1980s and has manufacturing operations in the USA and UK.
